- 6 Very Ripe Bananas
- 1 tsp Vanilla Bean paste
- ¼ cup Almond Milk
- 1 Cup frozen or fresh strawberries
- Handful of fresh Strawberries to serve
- Sprig of Fresh Mint
Slice bananas and lay them on a lined baking sheet, freeze overnight. Or just take the brown ones out of the fruit bowl as you go and you should store up a nice supply for ice cream making.
Using a powerful blender, place banana pieces, vanilla and a splash of the milk and whizz using the tamper to keep it all moving, add milk gradually until soft serve texture is reached. Scoop out half into a tub and freeze or serve immediately. Add strawberries to the blender and you have two tone delicious and super healthy ice cream in minutes.
Serve with strawberries and mint leaves scattered over the top.
Alternative caramel flavour: Add 2 dates, 2 tbsp almond butter and it will be a fudgey, caramel flavour.
