Miso Salmon, pointed cabbage and carrot noodles
Having spent a week listening to the world's best in nutrition and health talk about how Omega 3's are one of the essential parts of our diet we are like to be depleted in, I thought it was timely to put this up.
My final recipe for Lidl, all 5 recipes for £40 made me very happy, and it's got important brain fuel for us and our children that effects mood, concentration, behaviour as well as cognitive performance.
-
4 Salmon Fillets, skinned and sliced into bite size pieces
-
100 ml soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Sweet White Miso, whisked with soy
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
X2 250g Egg Noodles
-
2 Carrots, peeled into ribbons
-
1 inch fresh ginger, minced
-
2 cloves garlic, crushed
Miso Salmon, pointed cabbage and carrot noodles
Mix the miso and soy sauce with the ginger and garlic, pour over the salmon pieces, stir and leave to marinade.
Cook noodles as instructions, adding the carrot ribbons in the last minute, drain and add to serving bowl.
Warm the oil in a large pan over medium heat, tip the salmon and the sauce into the pan, cook until caramelised on each side, and pour over the noodles, folding gently.
Serve with fresh coriander and sliced chilli.
