After lots of holiday eating, I'm craving green. And desperate for my children to get some too, there's not much chance of them eating a raw stalk of tuscan kale..... So I came up with this on the last day of our holiday, under a brooding tuscan sky.
Lots of taste, bags of goodness for back to school energy and brains and back to work mood.
Serves 1 adult and 2 children
- 2 large Leaves Tuscan Kale (Cavolo Nero), spine removed, ripped into shreds
- 2 bananas
- 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 small pot coconut yoghurt (or thick natural yoghurt)
- 4 strawberries
- 1 pear, cored
- 2 cups (or more for runnier texture) Rice Milk
Throw all the ingredients into a high powered blender, bend and drink.
