Winter Spice (Rum) & Raisin Nice Cream
It's never too cold for ice cream and this is a winter warmer with a grown up kick to it for Christmas festivities. It's also completely instant, so no churning and stirring and waiting, just whizz it up and scoop it out.
Slice the bananas and place on a baking sheet in the freezer for an hour at least.
Once frozen, place in a high-speed blender with half the milk and the spices and the brandy if using. Blend on low pushing the mixture down with the tamper stick as you go and being careful not to blow up the engine! Trickle in more milk as needed until a soft scoop texture ice cream is reached. Stir through the raisins and serve.
- 5 bananas – very ripe
- Large pinch Allspice
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 100 ml Oat milk
- ¼ Cup raisins
- (1 capful Rum)
